IndustriesWe know your category
before the first call.
Every industry has its own search behavior, its own compliance edges and its own definition of a qualified lead. These are the DFW categories we have the deepest reps in.
Category changes the plan more than budget does.
Two businesses can spend the same money in the same city and need almost nothing in common. The reason is not the channel list — it is how long the buyer takes to decide and what they need to see before they commit.
A homeowner with water coming through the ceiling searches, calls the first three businesses in the map pack, and books whoever answers. Nothing you publish changes that outcome; your position, your reviews and your phone coverage do. A patient weighing a full-arch implant case behaves the opposite way: four to eight weeks of research, multiple site visits, comparison against two other practices, and a decision that hinges on financing clarity and proof of outcomes. Rank alone does not close it.
That difference is why we ask what a good lead looks like to you before we quote anything. It decides the channel mix, the content plan, where the budget sits, and what the monthly report should lead with. Get it wrong and you end up with an agency reporting record traffic while the schedule stays empty.
Six ways DFW buyers actually behave.
Find the row that describes your customer and you have most of the plan already.
| Buying pattern | Typical categories | What decides the win |
|---|---|---|
| Emergency & same-day | Roofing after a storm, HVAC in August, plumbing, water damage, locksmith, emergency dental Decision window measured in hours. Content barely matters; proximity, reviews and response time decide it. |
Map pack position, Local Services Ads, and answering the phone inside two rings |
| Considered local purchase | Remodeling, garage coatings, fencing, pools, landscaping, solar, medspa packages Two to eight weeks of research and three to five quotes. The business that explains the price wins more than the cheapest one. |
Organic service pages, before-and-after proof, financing answers, retargeting |
| High-value clinical | Implants, ortho, cosmetic dentistry, dermatology, vein, fertility, orthopedics One patient can be worth a year of another category’s leads, which is why cost per lead alone is a misleading target here. |
Procedure-level pages, physician authority signals, review depth, consult-booking flow |
| Professional retainer | Law, accounting, insurance, financial advisory, consulting Highest cost per click on the board and the longest gap between click and revenue. Attribution has to survive a 90-day lag or the numbers lie. |
Practice-area architecture, authority content, long-cycle attribution |
| Foot traffic & recall | Restaurants, retail, salons, studios, local brands Most of the demand never types your name. You are competing for the unbranded "near me" search and the repeat visit. |
Discovery search, short-form video, offers, local links and events |
| B2B & industrial | Manufacturing, distribution, logistics, commercial services Low volume, high value, multiple stakeholders. A hundred right visitors beats ten thousand wrong ones. |
Technical product SEO, demand capture, nurture automation, SQL reporting |

Category and city interact.
The same category does not behave identically across the Metroplex, which is the main argument for working with someone who only takes DFW accounts. A dental practice in Plano is competing against corporate-relocated patients who read every review before booking and against some of the highest dental ad costs in the region. The same practice in Mesquite faces a fraction of the competition and a buyer who is far more price-sensitive — and a plan copied from the first will overspend badly in the second.
Home services shift the other way. Dense districts like Addison reward a tight two-mile radius and fast response, while a Rockwall or Wylie contractor can profitably work a ten-mile ring because there are simply fewer competitors bidding against them.
Twelve cities have their own plan on this site. Start with the service area map and read the one that matches your address.
Category questions we get asked.
Does marketing work differently for a dental practice than for a roofer?
The channels are mostly the same. What differs is the buyer. A roof leak is an emergency search resolved in an afternoon, so the map pack and Local Services Ads carry the volume and speed of response decides who wins the job. An implant case is a six-week consideration process with three or four site visits, so the work sits in procedure pages, financing answers, before-and-after proof and review depth. Same toolkit, completely different weighting.
What counts as a qualified lead in my category?
We ask you to define it before we build anything, because the definition changes the whole plan. For a law firm it is usually a signed case type inside a practice area, not any inbound call. For a med spa it is a booked consult that shows up. For an HVAC company it is a scheduled service call in a service area you actually want to drive to. Optimizing to raw form fills without that definition is how agencies report growth while the phone stays quiet.
Do you work with businesses in regulated categories?
Yes — healthcare, dental, legal and financial services are a large share of the work. That means intake forms that do not collect protected health information in plain email, review requests that never solicit a specific outcome, ad copy written against platform policy for medical and legal verticals, and claims on the site that can be substantiated. We would rather lose an aggressive headline than lose your ad account.
My category is not on your list. Is that a problem?
Usually not. Local search mechanics do not change much between categories — the buyer’s research pattern does. If you can explain who buys from you and what a good month looks like in twenty minutes, we can build a plan for it. The only hard requirement is that you operate somewhere in Dallas–Fort Worth.
Do you take competing clients in the same category and city?
No. We do not run two roofers in the same service radius or two practices competing for the same procedure in the same suburb. If we are already working with a direct competitor of yours, we will say so on the first call rather than after you have shared your numbers.
Not on the list?
The mechanics of local search do not shift dramatically between categories — what shifts is the buyer’s research pattern and what counts as a qualified lead. If you can explain your business to us in twenty minutes, we can build a plan for it. The only hard requirement is that you are somewhere in Dallas–Fort Worth.
Tell Us About Your BusinessTell us what a good lead looks like to you.
Every plan we build starts from that definition rather than from a list of services. Book thirty minutes and we will work backward from it to a channel mix and a budget.
